Women’s Ministry

It is the Mission of Women’s Ministries to provide opportunities for the women of Laurelwood to grow in knowledge and wisdom through the study of God’s Word, as well as other Christian literature; to provide opportunities for our women to establish and deepen relationships with one another, to come alongside women who are experiencing hurtful life situations and give godly counsel, and to train women for service by providing opportunities to utilize their gifts and talents.

Current Programs:

WOW (Women of the Word): Laurelwood’s Women’s Bible Study, September-May. Many have been challenged and inspired during these times of study and fellowship. Dig deep and grow in knowledge of the Bible and God’s truth.

MOPS (Mothers of Pre Schoolers – for moms with children from birth to kindergarten): Listen to speakers on relevant topics, be encouraged and strengthened by other moms experiencing the same things you are, as well as from experienced moms offering advice, comfort and prayer.
Meets the 2st and 4th Thursday from 9-11:30am, starting up again in the fall.

Prayer Partners: If you are interested in having and being a prayer partner, sign up at the Women’s Ministry table on Sundays, or contact Amy Peterson.  Meets the 2st and 4th Thursday from 9-11:30am: If you are interested in having and being a prayer partner, sign up at the Women’s Ministry table on Sundays, or contact .
